Biography
Tyshler was born in Melitopol in the Ukraine in 1898; he died in 1980 in Moscow. Considered a moderate avante - garde artist of the 1920's, he exhibited in USSR, East & West Germany, France, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Japan and the United States. His works are in the Tretyakov Art Gallery and Pushkin Museum, Moscow; the Russian Museum, Leningrad; the Ludwig Museum, Cologne; and the Cremona Foundation, Maryland.
