1877 Returns to America, establishes his studio in New York City
1901 Died in New York, NY
Moran studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia with Paul Weber and James Hamilton.
Moran was a member of the National Academy of Design, the American Watercolor Society, and the Lotus Club.
