Diego comes to Paris, where his brother is already staying in the atelier rue Hippolyte Maindron. Diego assists Alberto in making casts. |

Diego and Alberto are asked by Jean-Michel FRANK to work with him, creating decorative elements of furniture. |

1940 - 1945 |
 |
Diego remains in Paris during the war; he works in different foundry workshop. When Alberto comes back to Paris, Diego still work with him. He is his brother’s favorite model, but he also starts to create his own sculptures (plaster horse for the Guerlain institute). |

Diego creates the bronze sculpted furniture and lighting elements for the Picasso museum. |

He dies a few days before the opening of the museum. |
