Specializing in American and European 19th and 20th century art, John E. (Sandy) Parkerson's experience has been extensive: 1970 and 1980 vice president Sotheby's, latterly as head of the painting department at the Los Angeles branch; 1980 to present in business for himself dealing in an eclectic selection of oils, watercolors and works on paper primarily from the period 1850-1980, many from Houston estates. He is also a certified member of the Appraisal Association of America Inc. which he has belonged to since 1972.
