Lynda Anderson Galleries has been in business since 1985 buying and selling works of American and European art from the 19th – 21st centuries. The gallery specializes in European and American paintings, drawings, watercolors and sculptures of the 19th-21st. centuries, as well as some of the finest contemporary artists working today including sporting art, and portraits of dogs.
Gallery services include: building private and corporate art collections, brokering of art, appraisals of individual works and collections, the purchase and sale of individual works and collections, and locating and researching works of art. We also accept paintings and sculpture on consignment offering clients a discreet and lucrative alternative to public auctions. Situated in the heart of Long Islands Gold Coast community we sell works from some of the oldest families and finest collections in America.
Lynda Anderson Galleries represents the estate of Charles Cary Rumsey (1879-1922). The sculptures of Charles Cary Rumsey were largely found only in Museums from Paris to New York. In co operation with the family of Rumsey, Lynda Anderson Galleries is pleased to present to the public posthumous casts of his works, formerly not available, along with some of his rare original works. His equestrian works, along with dogs, wildlife and figures can be viewed online as well as in the Gallery.
