We're Moving! Please join us at our new location 260 N. Rodeo Drive starting November 1, 2009.

Galerie Michael specializes in fine European paintings, drawings, and prints from the 17th century to the present. Located on the world famous Rodeo Drive in the heart of Beverly Hills, the gallery exhibits works by Rembrandt van Rijn, Marc Chagall, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Pablo Picasso, Pierre Auguste Renoir, Henri Matisse, the artists of the French Barbizon School, and many more.

Acknowledged as a leading dealer in the etchings of Rembrandt van Rijn, Galerie Michael maintains one of America's largest inventories of his graphic work. Widely recognized as the greatest practitioner of the etching technique in the history of art, Rembrandt's three hundred prints constitute a body of work unparalleled in richness and beauty. Galerie Michael has mounted special exhibitions featuring Rembrandt's prints for over a decade, often with other dealers from around the world. Galerie Michael is pleased to offer an unmatched selection of quality prints by Rembrandt at our gallery throughout the year. The gallery also has played a significant part in the rediscovery of the Barbizon School painters: Jules Breton, Camille Corot, Charles Daubigny, Henri Harpignies, Charles Jacque, Leon L'hermitte, Constant Troyon and other great artists of the 19th century French landscape tradition are featured in the gallery collection. Belle Epoque painter/printmakers such as James Tissot, Jules Cheret, Alphonse Mucha and Manuel Robbe are also represented.

Galerie Michael mounts ten major exhibitions annually and has published accompanying catalogues with essays by leading scholars including: Rembrandt print specialist Mr. Gary Schwartz of Holland, 19th century art historian Professor Gabriel Weisberg, and Ms. Alexandra Murphy, formerly Curator of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. In addition, the gallery participates in a number of national and international art fairs such as the New York Fine Print Fair, Art Asia Hong Kong, Art Miami, Art Singapore-Tresors and Art Chicago. Galerie Michael is a member of FADA, the Fine Art Dealers Association, a select group of galleries dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct while contributing to the advancement of the arts through education. Galerie Michael has assisted in building great collections for many high profile clients from the entertainment, music and business community here in Los Angeles. As a source dealer with years of experience, we have immediate access to a wide variety of paintings, drawings and graphics in all price ranges.
