With a large collection of oils, watercolours and prints in stock, the Mathaf Gallery, after more than 25 years of business, still leads the world in 19th Century and Contemporary paintings of Arabia, known as Orientalism. From David Roberts' coloured lithographs to oils by Ludwig Deutsch and Jean Léon Gérôme, the Mathaf has Orientalist paintings attractively framed to suit every requirement. Each 19th Century painting is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, the Mathaf being a member of the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce, the Society of London Art Dealers and the London and Provincial Antique Dealers Association.
