Mary-Anne Martin/Fine Art (mam/fa) is devoted to the promotion and sale of Latin American art. Since its founding in 1982, mam/fa has been renowned for its inventory of Mexican and Latin American masterworks. Classic paintings, drawings, sculpture and prints by famous masters like Rivera, Kahlo, Tamayo, Matta and Lam are joined by new works from established artists like Gerzso, Castañeda, Cruz-Azaceta, Climent, De Obaldía and Zenil.
In addition to selling art, mam/fa accepts works on consignment and in some cases purchases works outright. The gallery provides other services such as appraising works for insurance, supervising the framing and restoration of artworks, advising and bidding for clients considering auction purchases, and consulting on the acquisition and deaccessioning of works for private individuals and public collections.
mam/fa is also an important resource for scholars and museums. For more than 20 years, Martin has consulted for virtually every major international Rivera, Kahlo and Tamayo exhibition, as well as major survey shows like Mexico, Splendors of Thirty Centuries at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 1989.
Mary-Anne Martin/Fine Art is a member of the Art Dealers Association of America. Martin is Senior Vice President of the Board of Directors of the ADAA and currenlty serves as the head of the Membership Committee.
