Marine Arts Gallery is a full-service art gallery and offers a number of services: consultation, purchasing, conservation and fine arts appraisals.

We are one of this country's oldest marine arts galleries, established in 1968, in historic Salem, Massachusetts. We are celebrating our 41st year.

We strive to show the best in quality in each of our offerings of both 19th and 20th century paintings.

Our Salem gallery is located on the campus of the Peabody-Essex Museum, with its $125 million expansion which is well-worth a visit. Salem is an easy day trip from Boston or Nantucket.

The works illustrated on line will give every collector an opportunity to visit our gallery. We look forward to discussing any of these works with current or new collectors.

Please check our inventory for new paintings by Roy Cross, RSMA, considered to be the foremost marine painter of this century. We are celebrating our 30th plus year as his exclusive agent. We now have available "Celebration of Sail, Marine Art of Roy Cross RSMA" and we have several paintings from Roy's private collection that are illustrated in this new book.

Also, new paintings by Richard K. Loud, AMSA, considered by many to be one of the most talented young artists painting today, producing some of the most intense yachting scenes as well as detailed paintings of figures in beach settings.

New paintings by Len J. Pearce, first and third prize winner, Mystic Maritime, 1983.

We have handled Len's work over twenty years. His work has been compared to J.E. Buttersworth.

New Paintings by A.D. Blake, his knowledge of yachting scenes is unsurpassed. His late brother, Sir Peter Blake, was instrumental in winning the America's Cup for New Zealand two consecutive times.

Wonderful 19th Century paintings by W.H. Yorke, Antonio Jacobsen, and Robert Salmon.

All of our paintings include fine art appraisals and are guaranteed. Unlike most auction companies today that state in their conditions of sale that there paintings are sold as is with no guarantee.

We are always looking for fine quality marine paintings to purchase in the strictest confidence.

Thank you for viewing our site.
