We think that inuit art is essential to any great modern art collection. We should not forget that there are inuit artists of international recognition and we must remember that the beauty and the quality of some inuit sculptures can be compared to modern artists like Brancusi, Giacometti, Arp, Picasso and others. We can still find inuit sculptures of that quality at a reasonable price.

Their talent ignores fashion which makes their work immortal. If history should only retain the great North American sculptors, we would need to pronounce names like Anghik, Akpaliapik, Ashevak, Atehealak, Barnabus, Etungat, Ipeelee, Tasseor and many others.
