Vincent Sorrentino has established and headed galleries, publishing houses, and art investment companies in New York since 1968. Publications include such artists as Richard Estes, Phillip Pearlstein, Malcolm Morley, Tom Wesselmann, and Michaelangelo Pistoletto to mention a few. His gallery in New York focused on European and American modern and contemporary prints masters. Shows included Picasso's "347 suite" and Rouault's "Cirque de l'Etoile Filante" and "Cirque". Other shows of European artists include Miro and Chagall. Shows of Contemporary American artists include Michaelangelo Pistolleto, Richard Estes, Phillip Pearlstein, Roy Lichtenstein, David Hockney, and others of this calibre. Mr. Sorrentino relocated in Florida where he co-founded a museum devoted to photography and organized one-person shows of the works by Berenice Abbott, Todd Watts, Lynne Cohen, Barbara Kasten and others. He continues to operate as a dealer of contemporary art and a curator of art shows.
