Pandolfini Casa d'Aste has for some years now been the leader in sectors otherwise unknown within the Italian market, such as vintage and collectors' wines, classical and Egyptian archaeology and Design.
Pandolfini Casa d' Aste was founded in the early 1900's by Cav. Luigi Pandolfini.
he began his working life in 1924 by selling furniture, furnishings and objets d'art entrusted to him by various customers. In the second half of the 'forties, Pandolfini Casa d'Aste began, with increasing frequency, to organise auctions of furniture, furnishings and old paintings, particularly of the nineteenth century, which came from big hotels, the homes and villas of Florentine nobles and important private collections. In the early 'fifties, as the quality level of the objects put up for sale began to grow and auction sessions became more frequent, Pandolfini Casa d'Aste transferred its activities to the prestigious Palazzo Ramirez Montalvo at 26 Borgo degli Albizi where it sill has its headquarters The company now is still evolving making a more agressive commercial policy, increasing the number and quality of the staff, and offering a wide variety sales in different sectors.
