M. FORD CREECH ANTIQUES & FINE ARTS
M. Ford Creech Antiques & Fine Arts specializes in 17th, 18th, and early 19th century furniture and decorative arts, as well as a changing selection of fine late 19th and early 20th century American and European painters. Each piece is carefully selected in regard to quality, condition and uniqueness. As Ms. Creech worked for 35 years as a nationally recognized artist, both the fine and decorative art collection reflect her more critical and exacting aesthetic criteria - quite visible upon entering the gallery.
The antiques concentration is predominately 18th century British. All furniture offered has a long history of occupancy in the United States. The decorative arts include early Chinese ceramics; Chinese export and English porcelain (to 1800); early glassware; a good selection of 17th - early 19th century British silver, including flatware, hollowware, and accessories; and a small collection of 19th/early 20th century tribal rugs.

MILLICENT FORD CREECH
Millicent Ford Creech has been brokering fine antiques since 1993. From 1966 through 2003, Ms. Creech gained national recognition as a portrait artist, including numerous national awards and museum exhibitions, and selection as one of the 20 top American portraitists.
In 1989, to expand her life-long interest in 18th century antiques and decorative arts, Ms. Creech began formal training in 18th century British furniture. Although the intent was pleasure and enrichment, she inadvertently found a passion equal to her love for painting. She sought further intensive instruction and tutorage internationally with some of the world’s leading experts in furniture and decorative arts. The result is a unique combination of both the visual standpoint of an accomplished artist, and the intellectual and historical aspects of a scholar. Ms. Creech has written a number of published articles on fine arts, as well as antiques, and is a regular lecturer for regional museums.
The growing demand for her expertise and services, as well as her growing passion for the field, brought about her retirement from painting in 2003, and the opening of a private gallery in 2004. Since that time, the gallery has also received national recognition, and almost sold out on several occasions.

(1994), Certificate in Appraisal Studies from New York University (2001). In addition to her earlier work with Ms. Creech, Ms. Vander Zwaag managed two further galleries (1998-2004), joining M. Ford Creech Antiques & Fine Arts full time in 2004.
