Bernard Jacobson opened his first gallery in 1969. He specialised in publishing emerging British and International artists, who have now become part of the establishment.
With an extensive printing programme running through to the late 90s the gallery has amongst its stock the likes of Auerbach, Caro, Caulfield, Denny, Hodgkin, Judd, Kossoff, LeWitt, Motherwell, Nicholson, Ruscha, Tillyer and Vaux.
In 2005 the gallery produced new editioned objects and prints by MarcVaux and William Tillyer. In 2006 we will add new editioned by Larry Bell, Pia Fries and Shirley Kaneda.
The gallery also has an extensive stock of works on paper by a large number of the gallery artist’s, and where possible runs exhibitions of editioned works to compliment the main shows in the gallery.
