TVDART Gallery is situated in the western part of Berlin / Charlottenburg /. It was established by Valerij Tarasenko in December, 2002.
TVDART Gallery regularly presents XX century artworks of the famous Latvian painters from Classical Modern to Contemporary Art. Artworks of the young painters of Genre (genre-painting) and Figurative tendencies are also presented in the gallery.
TVDART Gallery also presents artworks of Soviet Painters till 1970 - Sovietimpressionismus (Soviet Impressionism) and Sozrealismus (Social Realism) – tendencies of painting that nowadays are topical not only at the level of art critics, but also at museums’ level (exhibitions “Moskau - Berlin / Berlin – Moskau” from 28.9.2003 till 5.1.2004 in Martin-Gropius-Bau Berlin and „RUSSIA!” from 16.9.2005 till 11.1.2006 in Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York).
