The gallery was co-founded in 1972 by the present owner/director Iris Wazzau.
The location "Davos" has attracted an international clientele from the beginning.
The gallery participated regularly at Art Basel, Art Cologne and Art Chicago.

The Gallery program is influenced by the fact that the German Expressionists Ernst Ludwig Kirchner (1880-1938)and Philipp Bauknecht (1884-1933)lived and worked in Davos for many years. Further expressionists like Heinrich Campendonk, Erich Heckel, Albert Müller, Hermann Scherer and Jan Wiegers are strongly represented by the gallery. Most have been repeatedly exhibited.

Years ago the gallery-program has been extended emphasizing works by Marc Chagall, Nicola de Maria, Sam Francis, Gottfried Honegger, Carl Liner, Niki deSaint- Phalle, Mark Tobey, Varlin to name a few.

Catalogues are documenting most exhibitions.
