Established in 1987 by Miriam Smith, the ART RESOURCE GROUP specializes in the sale of modern and contemporary art. Through her consulting services, Ms. Smith has guided both experienced collectors and novice clients with sound acquisition assistance, tailored to meet each client’s specific needs and interests. With a strong knowledge of art history and the market place, Ms. Smith has acquired for her clients, a wide range of historically important artworks, as well as distinguished works by emerging talents. In addition, Miriam Smith has been a member of the Appraisers Association of America for over ten years and specializes in appraising American and European art from the 19th and 20th, centuries, including paintings, drawings, sculptures and prints.
