New Arts Gallery opened its doors in 1996 exhibiting works by both internationally recognized and newly emerging artists from both the USA and abroad. Located 2 hours north of New York City in the scenic countryside of Litchfield, Connecticut the gallery lies directly between the new DIA; Beacon, in Beacon, NY and Mass MOCA in North Adams, Massachusetts. The gallery has become known for its world class exhibitions as well as its commitment to exhibiting thought provoking, significant works of art in all media. The gallery's program of exhibitions include changing shows in the main gallery as well as an ongoing rotating exhibit of gallery artists in our 'North' gallery. While exhibiting many major US artists such as Sol LeWitt, William Bailey, Edda Renouf the gallery also has a focus on contemporary British artists working in all media representing the work of Ray Richardson, Mark Hampson, and Cathie Pilkington among others. The gallery has also recently begun exhibiting artists working in photography from both the US and Europe and represents Italian photographer Andrea Rontini in the United States.
