Irvine Contemporary is located in the 14th and U Street arts neighborhood in Washington, DC. The gallery specializes in contemporary art by early and mid-career artists with growing national and international reputations. The gallery program emphasizes work in all mediums that engage in the ongoing dialog with history and the present for defining the possibilities of art practices today. We also exhibit and represent artists working in new, hybrid forms that combine mediums, materials, and technologies, and cut across the boundaries of established genres and categories. Irvine Contemporary also particiaptes in major art fairs in New York and Miami.
Irvine Contemporary works with collectors and curators nationally and internationally to establish the best collection placements for our artists. Our exhibition program includes special events, lectures, and panel discussions in area museums and universities to provide accessible information and knowledge for collectors and the general public.
