The gallery's operations are concentrated in a multitude of areas. It focuses on modernist masterworks made by artists such as, Edvard Munch, Pablo Picasso and Asger Jorn. In its contemporary programme the gallery represents: Erik A. Frandsen, Michael Kvium, Christian Lemmerz, Bjarne Melgaard, Nina Sten-Knudsen, Michael Bevilacqua, Erik Parker and Tom Sanford. Gallery Faurschou exhibits on an ongoing basis Georg Baselitz, Robert Rauschenberg, Gerhard Richter, Per Kirkeby, Wim Delvoye, Mark Tansey, Shirin Neshat.
Luise and Jens Faurschou with respective degrees in art history and economics, blend their professional acumen to shape the direction of the gallery.
The gallery will be closed from July 5 – August 11, 2009.
