It is located in Vienna's old town very close to the Opera. The gallery can be accessed from the street and boasts extensive first floor show rooms. For the past thirty years, Christa Zetter has concentrated on dealing in high-quality specimens of Art Nouveau and products of the Wiener Werkstätte. Alongside these the Galerie bei der Albertina offers a wide selection of Austrian classical modernist paintings and sculptures, as well as Contemporary art. The Galerie bei der Albertina mounts exhibitions devoted to individual artists or specific themes that are generally accompanied by publications. Moreover, participation in the leading Austrian trade fairs devoted to art and antiques (The Residenz, Salzburg, at Easter; Vienna's Hofburg in November) rounds off the palette of activities at the Galerie bei der Albertina. Since January 2003 the Galerie bei der Albertina is a limited liability company and Katharina Zetter-Karner has become partner.
