The Darvish Gallery specializes in 19th and 20th century European and American oil paintings, and also offers select sculptures in marble and bronze. In seven museum-style rooms, the works of 15 contemporary artists are displayed along with many older works. Our emphasis is on Realism and Impressionism, with representation from the Hudson River School, Cape Ann School, Dutch School, and Marine Art. The common thread running throughout is that we carefully select the best works of each artist we carry, whether they be well known names from the past like Edouard Cortes, Albert Bierstadt, Antonio Jacobsen, Henriette Ronner-Knip, our featured contemporary artists such as Dulce Beatriz, Vincent, Troy Acker, or the many others whose works are held in our collection. Darvish was founded in 1983 at its present location in the historic Olde Naples district, and is family owned and operated by Charles and Eva Szabo and William and Andrea Casement. The Gallery prides itself on personal attention and a relaxed atmosphere. When you walk through the door, or contact us by phone, fax, or email, you will be dealing with one of the owners. Our clientele ranges from novice art lovers to sophisticated collectors.
We invite you to view the images on the following pages to get an idea of the gallery’s holdings, although they represent only a fraction of out inventory. Contact us if you would like further information.
