Jim Levis, founder of Levis Fine Art, is a third generation fine art collector and member of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. His firm, Levis Fine Art, Inc. exhibits at many of the fine art fairs in the country including USArtists, The Boston International Fine Art Fair, The Chicago Art Fair, The Los Angeles Art Fair and fairs in Palm Beach. Levis Fine Art is a member of FADA. Prior to founding Levis Fine Art, Inc. in 2001, Mr. Levis was a co-founder of the Fortress Corporation, the nations’s leading fine arts storage and services firm serving over 1200 museums and galleries, and thousands of private art collectors.
Levis Fine Art, Inc. (LFA) is dedicated to working with private clients and museums in the purchase or sale of American Modernist artworks in all mediums. Over the past 5 years, LFA has played a major role in re-discovering and re-introducing the important works by some of American leading Modernists artists, including Rolph Scarlett, Jose DeCreeft, Leo Friedlander, and Albert Wein, who had fallen into obscurity in past decades, but who’s works are iconic.
