The Leo Castelli Gallery was founded in 1957. Leo Castelli gave Jasper Johns, Roy Lichtenstein and Frank Stella, among others, their first one man show. The gallery has been the epicenter of the Pop Art movement, Minimal movement and Conceptual Art. The gallery continues its activity today on the 3rd floor of brownstone on the Upper East side. |
