The New Art Centre, a sculpture park at Roche Court in the south of England specialises in work from 1950 onwards, and is the sole representative of the Estate of Barbara Hepworth (1903-1975). We work closely with the family on a global exhibitions and sales programme, and exhibit her works in the park.

The gallery houses a changing programme of 4 to 5 exhibitions a year. Previous exhibitions include Antony Gormley, Richard Long, David Nash and Alison Wilding. The gallery exhibits works of art in a range of mediums including sculpture, painting, ceramics, photography and letter cutting.

There are over 100 works exhibited in the Sculpture Park from 1950 to the present day, including recent works by artists including Barry Flanagan, Nina Saunders, Anthony Caro, Richard Deacon and Gavin Turk. We also commission young artists to make works for the park. All works are for sale.

Madeleine Bessborough founded the New Art Centre in 1957. The original gallery was located in Sloane Street, London and in 1994 it was re-located to Roche Court in Wiltshire, a nineteenth century house in parkland. The New Art Centre exhibits annually at the Basel Art Fair.
