Thierry and Laure Normand are collectors who decided to transform their passion into a profession and, at the end of 2001, opened their gallery 35 rue de Lille in the Carré des Antiquaires in Paris.
Specialised in paintings and drawings of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century, they want to share with collectors, experienced as well as beginners, their convictions that the 19th century is probably the richest and the most passioned period for French painting.
From neo-classicism to Romanticism, Naturalism, Realism and up to Impressionism, many are the masters, widely recognised and also those, praised by the connoisseurs, who have not yet fully achieved proper public recognition.
