One of the leading art companies in Israel, Matsa for Public Auctions was
established in 1976 by Motti Peled, formerly a colonel in the Israeli Army.
Although in the past it also dealt with philately, numismatics and Judaica,
for the last twelve years Matsa has specialized in Israeli and International art.
Matsa's prominent clients are collectors and investors from Israel and Abroad.
The sales are based on objects purchased internationally, and in many instances
bidders submit their orders in writing or by phone prior to the sale.
Besides the sales, Matsa, and the owner Motti Peled are art consultants and offer
mediation services between sellers and potential buyers, as well as evaluation of
art objects, including to insurance companies.
